White Chocolate Chai

White chocolate pairs beautifully with the spices in the chai tea.

Tasting TIPS for Enjoyment

White Chocolate Chai may be chilled and served over ice. Grand Marnier may also be added to the chilled mixture.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups (480ml) water
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 2 cups (480ml) Milk
  • 1 (3.5 oz/100g) Bar Lindt White Chocolate, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup (60ml) Grand Marnier liqueur (optional)
Method:
  1. Boil water in a saucepan, add tea bags, remove from heat.
  2. Allow to steep five minutes then discard tea bags.
  3. Heat milk until steaming.
  4. Place chocolate in a small bowl and pour ¼ of steaming milk over chocolate, stirring until chocolate is melted.
  5. Stir chocolate mixture into hot milk; add chai and vanilla extract.
  6. Add Grand Marnier, if desired.
  7. Serve hot in tea glasses or mugs.
Yield:
4 - 5 servings
